soon I must go back to class
Jan. 8th, 2001 09:53 pmDropped a packet of letters in the mail box today. They are on the way.
I've been having these vivid bizarre dreams for about a week now. They fade so fast when I get up that after I've showered and coughed enough to pick up my notebook, I can't write them down. Though I know they were long and complex, plot-intensive dramas. Hmm.
Looking at one of those sites where you can contact people from high school. Scary to realize that people I knew as goofy teenagers have married each other and had children. Not too many yet, but enough to be weird.
Next week I have to go back to school... it seems too soon. I'm not ready! My Czech cases are jumbled, and I have to start studying or my professors are going to tear me apart. My perfectionist tendencies will go into overdrive and my hands will start to shake when I open my book. I get scared, cause sometimes I still mix my Russian into the Czech, and I sound like a Slovak cause I can't roll my r-s. I have guilt cause my accent isn't all the way yet, and I feel bad whenever I drop my lines. Please, let Professor P. be teaching and not Professor C.
