Slept a long time, til almost ten this morning. Unusual for me, with the compulsive waking at 7 routine I've developed. It was good sleep, sound sleep, sleep with dreams of dragons and tables and my professor taking his shirt off in the Calhoun. Lots of random, odd images. Overall, it was good dreaming. Deb is teasing me about my dreams over email this morning. I am quite cheerful. Especially after reading Dr Gogol's newest chapter of The Sinatraist. That story intrigues me more and more. I can already imagine it in hardback form, the kind of book I would read late up into the night.

"Well I thought I was doing you a favor. I can't believe you want me to pay for that."
-my father, on why he thinks I should pay the $100 for the floor he destroyed in my former apartment.

Thanks. That was grocery money, money to buy things I need for my trip and to pay my bills. Ugh. I hate it when people are so irritating.

Deb and I ventured out to the HEB and bought pounds of strawberries, which are freezing as I type. Yum. I'm tempted to do the same, but I leave town in two weeks. Though I'm quite sure I could eat a pound of strawberries each day between now and then. Fruit is the greatest.

Cate and Warhol, have you any thoughts on what time is a good time to meet on Thursday? I was planning on spending the day at campus, so I am flexible. Just let me know when I should migrate over to Metro.

Back to playing Crazy Taxi and laughing insanely.

Just watched the documentary Living Dolls on HBO. And people wonder why America is so fucked up. Words can not convey the disgust and horror I felt while watching these children be paraded as sexualized meat. Ugh. The parents were unbelievable. Seeing five year old girls made up like dime store hookers, being taught to "shake it" and flirt with their judges. when do they get to play? When do they get to be children instead of toys for their parents to make themselves feel important? God! How can people allow such things? These poor children looked terrified, miserable, traumatized. What happens to these kids when they grow up? How could you do this to your own child? Damn it. Perhaps some of the anti-abortion snipers could be persuaded to shoot these people so they won't breed and damage more children. Ugh!
