The last thing I bought? a bottle of wine, which we polished off in no time. Getting to be pros at this sort of thing.

Dinner tonight was the best meal I've had, a multitude of grilled things at the Clay Pit, and a few drinks, something red and vodka. The bartender was friendly and offered to make them with Stoli Vanilla, and they tasted divine.

Driving, with REM (It's the End of the World) and the Pixies (Where's my head at?) up loud, marveling at the texture of the sky and the colors of the earth. It is, certainly, a day to be alive.
