three day pass

So much I should be doing. Instead I'm washing clothes and waiting for Melynda to wake up so I can turn up the stereo. I've cleaned a little bit around the house. Thought about my papers I need to be writing. Actually spent more time thinking about my story than my work. Work last night was full of some casual cruelties that are to be expected with only two days left.

Gene is playing Grand Theft Auto III with much glee. He took out a fair number of police on the last time round. Now he's driving a Mafia car and running folks down. Very funny. We accidentally left our chinese food in the restaraunt. Sat in Metro all afternoon and the music was good, good. The Pulp Fiction soundtrack, a live Cure album, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones.
