thirteen hours

It's been a long day. There was a lot of work to be done, and my new female lead gave me an exasperated look for leaving after only eight hours. My other lead is out of his mind, with a brand new baby at home, and his one year old son in the hospital. They want at least five hours of overtime this week. I can't say I'm enthused by the prospect.

Did another load of laundry but it is hard to want to clean more of the house. I strained something in my back on Saturday while moving stuff around and spending all that time stooped over while cleaning.

Once again, I'll be working on my birthday. Can't say I am enthused about that prospect.
