Tyler cooked dinner last night, including more of those to kill for roasted little potato bits, and we had lots of cocktails while UT gave Rice a thrashing. It's always a little cruel to beat the other guys by more than 40 points. The younger guys on the UT team did well. The ESPN guys kept showing a graphic about how many top flight players are in the Big 12 conference and two of them are in Texas. Despite growing up in such a football obsessed state, I still don't know quite all the rules. I blame the fact that my high school team was not so great. Our golf team though, and the baseball teams, they were good. Not that I know much about those sports.

Picked up a bottle of the Blood Moon from BPAL. Now they are offering limited edition tshirts for the lunar series! How badly do I want a Blood Moon tshirt? It is seriously tempting me. Moon madness! I also ordered a bottle of Samhain for my mother, as it seems like the sort of thing she will really like.

I'm surprised I don't have more of a headache from the cocktails. I am however, famished. I could really go for some fluffy biscuits. Or a pancake. Or queso. That's the brilliant part of being an adult. Deciding what you want for breakfast after you decide to start mixing brightly colored things in the liquor closet.

Last night I dreamed about being somewhere far away. It was like Australia crossed with Eastern Europe.

A shower makes all things better. Today I'm wearing Paris, made of lavender, lotus and spices. It's rather soothing.

I'm clean, and I smell good. Few things lift my spirits as much as that.
