run for the hills before they burn

Two more days of work. After yesterday's meeting, I am more and more comfortable with my decision to quit. I'm sort of appalled that one of our supervisors would not confront another supervisor about his derogatory remarks in a supervisor's meeting about our training skills. He was so unwilling to deal with it that it made me angry. I'm sorry, but no matter what line of business you are in it is beyond inappropriate to let others insult your team's work and tell your team not to say anything about it.

Just thinking about work makes me depressed.

I am looking forward to a three day weekend of video games and movies. (And doing some writing for which I will be paid, score!) Next week I'll start cleaning and setting up my own little writing schedule.

Mike and I are planning for a very soon wedding. Part of me wishes we had just eloped and told everyone afterwards, because it seems like there's always some complication no matter how simple you try to make this. Oh well. At least we get to write our own ceremony pretty much, and have Stacy officiate for us. !! I'm not buying a wedding dress or anything but I should totally get a new tiara!!
