snow white and the huntsman

Went to see Charlize Theron be deliciously evil in the Snow White movie. I enjoyed it, just as a Saturday popcorn sort of thing. It's visually stimulating, even if most of the acting is mediocre. I drank a beer. I appreciate that the romance angle was downplayed.

The trailer for Looper looks AMAZING. Also, seeing the Gatsby trailer on the big screen made me like it even more.

Driving home in the dark, it was cool enough to open all the windows and crank the stereo. I drove the long, long way home with the soundtrack of my heart pounding out into the rush of air and lights.

I listened to this on repeat in the car on the afternoon of the funeral. It held me together.
