Apr. 5th, 2013 08:41 pmI think sometimes our mail person skips our block. There was no mail for days and today the box was crammed overly full.
I recently read Cosmopolis, because I wanted to watch the movie. It was dreadful really. Boring, boring, boring as hell. I made it twenty minutes into the movie before I turned it off.
Instead I'm watching Todd Haynes' HOB miniseries of Mildred Pierce. I love the original movie so much, so I'm hesitant and waiting to be disappointed. But the colors and light are that gorgeous thing that Haynes does so I'm alright.
We are taking a vacation to New York in September. Tickets to see Depeche Mode, and a hotel booked in Brooklyn not far from where Racheline lives. I am looking forward to it an awful lot.
This spring is cold. It was in the 40s the other night. I can't ever remember April being so cold. At least it rained some. I would be happy if it rained for a week solid.
My motivation for things is at such a low.
