yule happiness

My Yuletide candy box arrived today, stuffed full of holiday Peeps and other delicious things. Of course I ate a bunch of candy instead of a balanced lunch. But while eating candy I had an idea and I think it will work its way into my Yuletide fic, so I consider this successful. The Yuletide swaps space out that generous, happy feeling I get from Yuletide each year. I had a lot of fun making a package for my candy swap person, and I sent one of my most favorite novels to my book swap person.

Fic-wise I've stumbled across some incredibly delightful things. I should perhaps do some recs.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week. I'm incredibly grateful for the Drafthouse doing the LOTR marathon that day. It takes a lot of stress off my shoulders.
