Jun. 21st, 2002 01:36 pmOh my lord. I can't believe this. I have bought eggrolls and potato and egg tacos from the stand since I was eight. From the same woman, with little jade earrings.

Date: 2002-06-21 11:58 am (UTC)I was never much of a fan of the one on the drag or in front of RLM. I used to get fried rice, fried noodles or Indian bread almost every day from Saigon Eggroll in front of Littlefield for lunch for almost 10 years...I'd hate to see this longtime tradition go.

And my sister once took a picture of the woman on the Drag. She was embarrassed. Then Sis made a print and gave it to her, and she stared at it for the longest time with a little smile on her face. She said she was ugly, and we said no, that it was a wonderful picture of her.
