my theory is that nobody on the x-files dies (and stays dead) unless they're a mulder informant. I mean, how many tiimes have we thought mulder was dead before? how many times has Krycek been killed? the Cigarette Smoking Man? and so many other characters..... but they keep coming back!
so maybe mulder will too. I can't quite believe they'll permanently do away with him, but it's possible..... if duchovney is really that serious about leaving.

I think Duchovny's been reworking his contract to allow him more time off for family things. A month! To the Fox vaults to find the secret episodes! ;)
