writing to make up time

It's strange how both the boy and the girl fit well in my arms. I never cease to marvel at that. They both have thick dark hair, and they make me smile.

Yesterday I stood in front of the mirror and stared at myself for a long time. Because I don't think I've ever really looked at myself and seen what other people see. It was a strange thing, and it left me a little bit shaken because I just had no idea. No idea at all.

It seems so unfair that I'm in such a good mood and she's so far away because I just want to grab her and spin around in circles until I'm too breathless to laugh.

My friend James commented last night that I look more relaxed than I ever have. But thank you! I've never been compared to Akhmatova and that just rocks my world.
