My aunt Tricia emailed me some photos tonight, which are fabulous. I especially love the one of our hands on my flowers. The roses and lillies are still alive, but the star shaped ones have faded. They are still on my desk.

Here's where we were married, in front of the limestone fountain.

My mother and Alan. His vest looks blue, but it was really silver. Damn, I never get tired of looking at him.

Cutting the groom's cake and licking our fingers.

Rach and I in front of the devastated cake. We still have lots of cake if you're hungry.

I was amazed it all came together like this. IT was perfect.

More photos to be uploaded today, and then a lot of film to be developed. We didn't have a professional photographer but we had about a dozen people with cameras and two videos. Eesh!

But isn't it better that way? Just knowing the people who took the photos did so with loving eyes? That seems somehow more personal, better than some strange photographer dude who knows all these generic angles and whatnot.

The limestone thinger is gorgeous, btw.

It is really, it feels more real to me than posed portraits. It is more how I remember it. :)

I love the limestone fountain! It's so pretty and I was so glad we could do it outside there.
