Jan. 7th, 2004 01:55 pmI suppose this is my own damn fault for something I did.
Someone smashed out my passenger side window. Took my car stereo and every cd I owned, including cds belonging to a couple friends. CDs that were made me for me and cds I bought overseas that I probably won't ever be able to replace. All gone.
I'm waiting for the police to show up, and then I suppose I'll talk to my insurance company. I can't even remmber right now if I have coverage for this sort of stuff. I don't think I do. It occurs to me that I haven't any idea how much it will cost to replace that window.

Date: 2004-01-07 12:54 pm (UTC)As long as there are things to own, there will be those who figure what's theirs is theirs, and what belongs to everyone else is also theirs. It's not your fault, although it is a damn shame your property was stolen. I can empathize.
Cheers...

Date: 2004-01-07 05:55 pm (UTC)Oi. I am bereft of all my foreign cds. What a shame. I had an entire Easter weekend service in old Church Slavonic in there. Not that I could really understand much of it, but it was good to listen to sometimes. Those thieves will be sorely disappointed in the market value of my music collection. ;)
