new glasses

My glasses arrived this afternoon. They are so light I am almost afraid of them. I dig the titanium frames. They look almost like my old pair, but a little smaller and the frames are a bronze color. Had a bit of a headache adjusting to the new type of lenses, but it seems to have gone away.

Spent half an hour on the phone with Brett bantering about books, work and cats, and why he should stay in Austin this weekend instead of going to the East Coast to get stuck in snow. I am thinking Sunday we should have people over for cards and food, and we can have the football on in the background. I wrote a nasty letter to CBS today about their refusal to run the MoveOn ad depite allowing the White House into the Superbowl ad rotation.

Yes. It's too late to stop him breeding, though. I'll just have to call the Amazingly Hot Liberal Guy Squad and make sure his daughters hook up with people who think labor laws aren't anti-abortion.
