It's a cruel thing to work on your birthday. I've decided I will no longer sign these cards that circulate for birthdays and things, because I'm a petty and awful person and would it have fucking killed someone to acknowledge my birthday?!? At least the receptionist who secretly runs the company called out a happy birthday to me.
To salvage the day, I'm going to clean up and go out to dinner with Alan. Oddly enough, my sister called to say hi. Her car was broken into last night and all her cds stolen. I think she's going to go buy a new car this weekend.
Many thanks for all the birthday wishes from LJ land, they made the long day at work better.

Happy Birthday dear girl, in the few years I've known you have changed so much. It's been a wonderful journey watching you, sharing in your success, and crying with your pain. May the rest of your day be everything you deserve.

Thank you, thank you. The Chambord/Baileys shots alone had made the evening spectacular.
