Some of my massive irritation with life has vanished, due to the rain blowing in from the south. It's hard not to enjoy summer rain, especially when it drops the temperatures back into the seventies.

Work was long. The staff for several states called in sick, and we were slammed with work. I was alone most of the day in Arizona, where I somehow managed to pound out 103 certifications. While I do not expect a prize for my 300% production rate, I did really enjoy the startled expressions on the faces of my managers.

Putting off the laundry for another day, because I'm just too tired. All I want to do is have something to eat and go to sleep, honestly.

You sound like me with all the state stuff. On Friday night, I was supposed to be working on Kansas and Idaho, but one of the Texas guys called in. He also usuall takes Minnesota, which means I had to do that, too. Then on Saturday, the Idaho guy left early, because he was sick, and the Kansas chick was late getting in because her car broke down.

I can't do all of the states! Sheesh. I'm just glad they didn't stick me with California. That's the worst one, by far.

That's kinda funny, because California is the best state of all in our office. ;) Lousiana is our worst, by far.

Hey, I was alone most of the day in Arizona too! Hee.

Thanks for the info on the fandom wank; how truly bizarre.

Hehe, but at least you didn't have to contemplate the drab FEMA maps!

Oh, glad to share, I think we should all be informed so as to run screaming if we ever catch sight of those folks.

I have to mention that on the way home today at one of the bus stops, I saw a semi-short young woman with short dark hair, glasses and a bandana on her head, might have even been dressed in fatigues, I can't remember. It freaked me out a little. It was very much you from your pcOrder days. You have a twin out there somewhere :-D

Hehehe, oh what a thought!

I need a bandana, it's getting hot and my hair keeps falling my face. ;)
