threeplusfireI watched the moon go dark from the sidewalk. It was a strange thing. I don't think I've ever watched a full lunar eclipse before. It must be something incredible in a place with no lights.
While I stood outside, a police helicopter came in fast and so low I could have hit with a rock. They must have been chasing someone up the road behind us. Now they're circling with the spot light over and over out there, over the neighborhood behind our complex. The helicopter keeps going over the house with that thunderous hum, the light sweeping back and forth. It's an eerie sort of sound.
