For lunch today I had a giant bowl of vermicelli with charcoal broiled pork bits, grilled shrimps, peanuts, carrots, bean sprouts and cucumber. It had a pale golden sauce that was slighty sweet and a little salty. It was so delicious. Then I topped it off with an avocado milkshake. If you have never had an avocado milkshake, it is one of the most delicious things on earth.

Mmmmm…. Vermicelli

God! You cannot believe how jealous I am right now!

The closest I come to any Asian food is a Chinese/American restaurant that is run by a Vietnamese who moved to the US when he was young. It is not bad for Chinese/American but Ahhhhhh…. Vermicelli… *sob*.

I've never had a taro milkshake. What is the flavor like? I'm only familiar with taro as a thickening agent with cooking.

I always have hated poi, which is made with taro...but when I tried a 'taro milk tea' from CoCo's (the most popular flavor), it was love. It tastes like cookies and cream to me for some reason, heh.
