So, in my search to replace World of Warcraft with something else, I decided to sign up for a Netflix account. It's not really much more than Warcraft, and is more gearing towards socializing with actual human beings instead of people inside my computer. (Not that I don't love the people in my computer a lot. Hell, I tell livejournal everything first.) But I realized last night that it has been days and days since I last played WoW, and despite the shiny new content of the Burning Crusade I am just not motivated. I would really like to hit 60 on at least one character before I quit. My subscription expires in June, so I have some time.
To my surprise, Netflix has a decent foreign film selection. I found the awesome Polish cop drama Psy and Psy II so those went to the top of the list. Also, I can rent things like The Devil Wears Prada without undergoing the judgemental stare of the teenagers working in Blockbuster. (Merly Streep is so delightfully evil.) They also appear to have a large number of Svankmayer's films, and some of the wacky 1960s Czech cinema I studied in Bregant's class. Fun times.
