I can feel myself changing, and I can't ever remember being so conscious of the process. I can feel it, letting go. Throughout the day, I hear the song and it reminds me, that I can be something more.

Driving home tonight, the music was everything I needed to hear. That feeling of incredible certainty, the wind blowing past, the sound up over the hiss of the asphalt beneath me, the lights and the curve of the highway glistening by...

Gene's never had strawberry pie. I find this amazing.

Slice
4 cups berries

Combine
2/3 to 1 cup sugar, depending on natural sweetness of the berries
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons quick-cooking tapioca

Sprinkle combined ingredients over the berries and stir gently until well blended.
Let stand 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Turn the fruit into a 9-inch pie shell. Dot with 1 to 2 tablespoons of butter.

Cover pie with top shell. Bake ten minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35 to 40
minutes.

(You can use any kind of berries for this!)
