It's worth the warped pan and the clouds of smoke, opening all the windows and cranking the fans. We had fantastic blackened salmon with a butter sauce and saffron rice.
We must definitely register at Williams & Sonoma now. The boy needs kitchen gear.

Date: 2003-10-08 05:22 am (UTC)all i could think about was china :) i definitely liked getting gifts better than money. somehow money went *poof* but gifts can be enjoyed till klutzy me breaks them! :)
i also got amazing crystal, high end flatware, lots of neat decorative serveware, etc plus the typical small appliances and such. it's really fun to entertain now! :) oh yes, and i got a cusinart food processor... i already had the kitchenaid mixer. gifts definitely make weddings/ combing homes/nesting smoother! you know that you shouldn't be JUST thinking about gifts...but it's hard no to think about them sometimes.
