Alan and I are convinced that the Chairman who hosts Iron Chef is really an ancient Toreador vampire. It makes a lot of sense to me. Does anyone think he actually chews and swallows that bite of yellow bell pepper? Check out those clothes! The whole premise of Iron Chef is exactly the crazy, decadent sort of thing a Toreador would create.I wonder if he sucks the blood of the Iron Chefs.

Oops, the American challenger beat Iron Chef Sakai. This guy never wins a lobster battle. I wonder if Chairman Kaga will eat him for his failure. Mwuhahah!

Naw, Kaga and the Iron Chefs feast on the blood of the vanquished posers who challenge them!

Although it is rather suspicious how the iron chefs themselves only last a few seasons each...

The Toreadors there created this venue to further their own chosen artwork. And who's t osay they couldn't savor the taste of their own work? Of course, keeping it down is another thing entirely...

And if someone ever challenges you, you can choose the venue and have them on the iron chef. Wary should be the foe of this Toreador Harpy, for you might be forced to eat of your creation and stay just that extra tad bit too late to talk to the media...

I so miss the Iron Chef. I used to watch it regularly in Ohio.

I can picture this so well. Maybe eating all that fancy food makes the blood taste better? Maybe Kaga munches on all those giggling Japanese actresses who show up on the tasting panel.

Do you not get it on Canadian TV? Aww. That's no good.

I think we get it on Canadian TV, but it's usually on one of the additional packages we gotta pay extra for... At the last place, we didn't have but basic cable. Here, we made a decision not to even get that. So... I don't watch televison these days.

But I do still miss that show. Odd that I miss it jsut about as much as the forensic files and the like. I wonder what that says about me.

I wonder if they've got the Iron Chef on video somewhere....

Well, even without cable you can get a lot of television on your computer. There are probably epsiodes out floating around the net.

I only watched Iron Chef once when I was at someone else's house with cable. It really frightened me. Maybe now I know why.

I saw that episode, and I think that Chairman Kaga actually eats the pepper. You can see him chew it. I was really suprised that Siegel won. I thought for sure that they would vote for Sakai.

I did too! That was a tough battle. Funny that it came down to that lobster bisque.
